WORLD CUP DI GENTING

World Cup dah berakhir!

Dua orang kena sekolah, seorang kena kerja, tiga orang lagi (termasuk saya) terus diselubungi selimut.

Next World Cup? Lama lagi beb!

Tapi malang, Nederland kalah.

MY ROOFTOP GARDEN

Finally...after almost four months, our lives are back to normal...well almost. The renovation which was supposed to complete two months ago was extended. The term slow and steady was perfected by the contractor and his workers. They worked too slow and steady.
Alhamdulillah, except for some minor touch ups, it is almost done.
But my favourite place is the rooftop, which I call MY ROOFTOP GARDEN. Measuring 40ft by 13ft, the place is cemented and presently contains a set of concrete garden table and chairs. A small part of it is used to place a large water tank and the Astro satellite dish.
The rest is mine.
A metal staircase is fixed to the wall for easy climbing and the garden is fenced up with iron.
In the afternoon, it is impossible to stay up there. But early in the morning and later at night, the garden is a perfect hideaway.
I fixed five garden lights along the fence and you can read a book, sipping coffee and at the same time enjoy the breeze which is still clean in this part of the world.
I am planning to do some gardening up here and have been looking up the Net for tips and ideas.
A few days ago, we were all up the roof to listen to a ceramah in conjunction with the by-election, situated across the road.
I am planning to buy that big umbrella and maybe later build a gondola for us to "bersantai".
Join me on the rooftop!

My life is currently undergoing renovation

My home is in a mess...my life? Almost! You see, we are currently renovating our home, adding thre more rooms to thje present four. One for my youngest, another for the guests and the third is a playroom which will resemble a cybercafe once it is ready.

With a limited budget, my life is beginning to look messy too...thinking of the bathroom equipment, the finishings etc.

But, I guess life's like that. May have to cut some edges to fit the budget but I am confident it will look beautiful once it is ready.

Meanwhile, my favourite spot at home will be taken over by the rest...the living room where I spend most of the time at home listening to music (of my choice), scrutinising Facebook etc as the children's room will also see some action.

I am merely fulfiling my promise to the kids for their own haven at home.

My wife? She is busy storing things in boxes including my toys.
